03 Sep Spring is in the air!
Spring means we get to finally take off those winter coats and scarves and start looking forward to longer days and more time to enjoy our beautiful property! This spring we are launching our new look website. It is a very exciting time for us as we have been dreaming of this for quite a while now.
Spring also means weddings. We have had a number of wedding groups book the cottages for accommodation for their wedding party and families and also as an amazing venue for their wedding ceremonies. We can’t wait to see these beautiful occasions come to fruition after the months of planning and dreaming that happens prior to the big day. We hope we can share a few special pics of these occasions with you.
Spring also means new growth around the farm. Even though things are extremely dry here at the moment as you drive through the property you will see the young calves just weaned from the mothers. Our son and daughter-in-law are also hoping for a new puppy litter to join the ‘family’. Watch this space!
We ask that everyone prays for rain, not only for this area but especially for those out west who are really doing it tough with little or no income due to destocking earlier. I heard a great idea recently that if everyone bought just one gift ( Christmas is just around the corner) from an online store that is based in a rural drought-affected community, this alone would have enormous economic impact! So let’s help in our own small way.
